So much of stepmotherhood happens in isolation. We talk in DMs, save posts that make us feel understood, and try to explain experiences that can be hard for anyone outside this life to fully get.
The Gathering is a series of intimate, in-person experiences created for stepmoms who want honest conversation, real connection, and time in a room with women who understand.
Because stepmom life often leaves you feeling like the outsider, finding women you can relate to is one of the best ways to start creating a stronger sense of belonging for yourself.
WHY I CREATED THE GATHERING
A little note from me about why I wanted to bring this community into the same room.
WHAT THE GATHERING IS
NOT A CONFERENCE, NOT A FORMAL WORKSHOP — A TABLE WHERE YOU BELONG.
The Gathering is intentionally small and conversational.
Think good food, meaningful connection, honest conversations about the parts we don't usually say out loud, and plenty of time to ask questions, share what you're navigating, and connect with me and the women around the table.
Depending on the city, some Gatherings may also include guided reflection, nervous system practices, walks, workshops, or other special elements.

An intimate lunch for a small group of stepmoms in beautiful La Jolla.
We'll gather around one table for good food, honest conversation, connection, and the chance to talk about the things that can be hard to explain to anyone outside this life.

A special holiday edition of The Gathering is coming to New York City this December.
An intimate in-person experience centered around connection, conversation, and spending time with me and other women who understand the complexities of stepmotherhood.
